Install the Chrome extension

Kick and YouTube VOD downloads and transcription run locally in your browser. Download the package, extract it, and load the folder in Chrome.

The package contains the compiled MV3 extension and includes no tokens, credentials, or video data.

How to activate

  1. Extract the ZIP file into a permanent folder.
  2. Open chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode.
  3. Click “Load unpacked” and select the extracted folder.
  4. Open the ViralBooster Side Panel and return to the app.
  5. Paste the VOD and click “Connect extension” before continuing.

Permissions used

The extension accesses ViralBooster to sync jobs, Kick to download the official HLS playlist, YouTube for public captions, and ONNX model CDNs. Processing remains local.
