Turn a livestream into a long video using chapters

Choose a story, not just highlights

A longer video needs a sustained idea. A multi-hour stream may contain an analysis, interview or explanation that deserves its own edit. Define the question your video will answer and locate the introduction, development and conclusion. Combining popular moments without that connection can leave viewers missing context.

Use the transcript to find the topic

In Viral Booster’s Library, Long videos is separate from Clips. The selection view combines a preview, transcript and chapters to help locate a complete discussion.

1. Open the livestream project and enter Long videos.
2. Read chapters and subchapters related to your topic.
3. Use the preview to check each excerpt’s opening and ending.
4. Select the material that forms the explanation and open the assembly in the editor.

Treat AI assessments as review cues

Chapter scores help prioritize review; they do not predict view counts. Check for an understandable idea, an opening that introduces it and a conclusion. If a statement depends on an earlier question or an on-screen image, keep that context even if the selection becomes longer.

Adjust pacing, audio and framing on the timeline

Review excerpt order and remove waiting time that adds nothing to the story. Silence removal should preserve pauses that carry meaning. Check volume across tracks and choose framing for the destination: not every long video should become vertical. Watch the joins after changes to avoid interrupted sentences.

Finish a version that stands on its own

Watch as someone who missed the original broadcast. Does the video explain who is speaking, what the topic is and why the conclusion matters?
